Kicked the tires on ChatGPT this morning. It seems a lot like Siri, Alexa or Google Chat but is in a written form (and I don't have to yell at it all of the time). I'm not sure how I'll use it yet, but I think that it will be a game changer the way the internet was. Maybe that's good, maybe it's not.

It attempts to wrap an authoritative tone around homogenized internet search results. For usefulness, I give it a fail.
Kind of scary when it says it wants to create a deadly virus. There will be so much of this AI soon and it all will be programmed to whatever the owner wants it to be, yet people will believe it to be truth. Kind of like how the maximum exposure to vinyl chloride was just recently changed 2 weeks ago from 100ppm to 100,000ppm when the last update was 17 years ago. Isn't Reddit full of bots now? Friends use that for info, even wikipedia is bought and sold, no more real facts.
