Anybody heard or heard of Xavier Lynn, out of Atlanta, I believe?
I watched him play with the Jon Cleary band this weekend, at the Crescent City Blues Festival in New Orleans, this weekend.
Young dude, very interesting style and sound.
The festival was live-streamed by community radio WWOZ. Some bits may stay on YT, not sure.
Xavier Lynn, Altanta guitar player?

The other farm cats didn’t super love him but the chickens thought he was alright so he became a chicken.
Yeah he's got a vibe. Doesn't sound too much like anyone I can think of but not out of this world different either. I'm hearing something that reminds me of a sitar in some of his playing. I feel like he's using out of phase pickups (some stereo 345/355s were out of phase) and/or a varitone. But that alone doesn't get you all of that sound. There's something going on there that I hear in Indian playing that I don't quite understand how one achieves technically.
This has a different vibe. More Neo-Soul/Hip Hop influences. But it's also a studio grade recording. Still feel like he's using out of phase tuning on the same guitar about 3+ minutes in.
