Those Epiphones look spectacular. What is that white one in the foreground? I've never seen that model before.

This image has me thinking about how people purchasing Gibsons vs Epiphones might approach that consumer choice when they live outside the US. If you're a prospective guitar buyer in Thailand, then a Gibson is an import from the US, and an Epiphone is an import from China. Neither of them is a product of your own country. Unless you have particular positive sentiments attached to the manufacturing place of origin, then it likely comes down to which is the better instrument and better value.

The white one in the foreground was a Joan Jett signature Special. They had some neat stuff..other side of the room was all Fender, lots of Player Series and a really sweet Vintera 60s Tele

They have some cool guitarsand it seems like they get models from the fender, Ibanez, Schecter that we dont get in the states.

It kind of works both ways....new releases tend to take another year to arrive here...but seome that are discontinued in USA seem to show up here a year later in stock. Strange.

Yeah Nafiri is Indonesia...which seems to be a much better place for guitars !
