Just saw Benson at a great venue. Along with war and commodores. Invited by visiting family and not really my thing but very good. Very impressed by war. Benson seemed To be getting old fast. He barely played guitar and what he did was more rudimentary and fairly sloppy.
It can be tough watching older acts. Impressed when they pull it off and try to turn up the nostalgia amp when they start to fail. And then there is always the sick or off night to factor in.
