Looks good! I love Thai food, luckily there is no shortage of incredible Thai restaurants where I'm located but I imagine the real deal from the source is something truly special.

There are a couple Thai places in my local area. We actually had tried one last night for the first time. It was fantastic. We will be going back again in the future.

I'll admit that it isn't easy for me to try new things and places. I used to be a pretty picky eater, but I'm getting better about trying new things as I get older.

Thai is also "the pick of the litter" of all the types of asian food! :D

I live in Asheville NC and it is known as a foodie destination because of the diversity of food available and having so many restaurants here. There must be 20 or more Thai restaurants my favorite is Suwana’s Thai Orchid here's a link if you are interested in it. https://usakor.com/suwanasthaiorchid/

I always get a kick out of the prices for common dishes eaten here...example Somtam papaya salad typically is about $1 to $2 depending on street vendor or sit down place. Asheville: $11.95..ouch

Perhaps but peanuts are pretty cheap here though, and with the Mexican cooks making the Thai food you'd think the prices could be held down. ,🤣

Tonight's Dinner: home cooked green curry chicken

Using a pressure cooker makes curries easier than stirring a huge cauldron for hours over a flame.

A local Mom & Pop discount store recently got in an entire pallet of these frozen dinners priced at 2 for $3. I've been eating one for dinner nearly every night for the last month. There's chicken, carrots, green vegetables, pineapple, and rice in a tangy sauce. I probably deserve a kick in the nuts for posting about this past expiration date frozen slop In the context of a thread about a fresh cooked Thai dinner. Maybe it's just my low brow taste and cheap skate nature shining through, but this stuff is good!
