A country music icon she will be missed. RIP you brought smiles to millions of fans around the world.

I've been watching a lot of the stuff in the media since Naomi's death & kept thinking that Ashley sure has aged!
Then it sunk in that the last time I saw them (in a little cafe in Brentwood, TN) Naomi was a good twenty years younger than Ashley is now
and Ashley was about 16 then! Ashley is in her mid 50's now.

RIP Naomi.

Sad. And just before a big award nomination.

Well, Ashley Judd announced this morning that her mama died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.
I would have thought an experienced RN would find a better way.

This is another "celebrity died" hoax. Naomi's is my wife!

You know @mickey we see these talented people who have been lucky enough to make it as an international superstar always smiling for their audience and singing their hearts out when inside is a personal hell. The pressure and stress these folks are under is tremendous complicated with the fact everyone wants something from you and even when you have no more to give. I never made it big but worked my a$$ off trying to just get recognized by someone who could take me to the top and it never did. You would have to be nuts wanting a job that can make you rich but you have to place your life's narrative in the hands of others and give up your personal control of your music knowing that you just signed over among other things your publishing right to your entire catalogue of music. When you add in physical and emotional troubles there's no wonder many kill their self a lot do it with accidental drug overdoses. Anyway the price of fame is a very costly one.

So RIP Mama Judd you will be missed but your music lives on in the recordings you left for us.
