I was very busy for about 7 years working my indie music promotion business, and was stuck in Facebook land. I had closed my business at the end of 2019, just before Covid hit. The last few years I have been focusing on playing and recording more. This place has always seemed like home to me. So great to see some familiar faces still here.

Welcome home friend.
I got your PM, and thanks for update on AGF. I want to answer, but I guess because I am new I don’t have permissions to answer or send PMs. I am so glad you were able to save the site!

Whoa! "I" didn't take any credit for saving AGF! But gave full credit to Patrick!!!
I think you will need to look at your options, settings.
I wasn't aware any member couldn't send PM's but knew you could set options to refuse them.
Click on your user ID on the top right to get a drop down menu to start the process.

EDIT:
Going back and reading the FAQ's, you can't turn on/off your ability to send PM's, only the receive side.
The default is ON and Patrick would have to manually set it to off.
So, may I suggest to try again to reply to the PM? Something might have hiccupped at the wrong moment???

Oh.. I must have read that wrong! Anyway, thanks to Patrick and thanks to you for sticking around! I need to figure out how to use this forum. So use to Facebook and just being able to comment on a post.

In the top left corner of (I think) every page you'll find a "Quick Links"
That is your best friend navigating this software.

Well then, welcome back.

Nice to see an acoustic, my favorites since I began playing in 1957.
