Thanks for being AGF

I know there's a Mery Christmas thread already but I do get a bit sentimental in the hollidays but want to say that we may be a small forum but for me there is not a better guitar forum out there. I belong to several forums that I just recognize a poster occasionally I just don't know who anyone is but here @honyock ,@tobijohn @mickey @slowhand84 @toomanycats @UrenragK @PoodlesAgain @sabasgr68 and on and on with a special thank you to our fearless leader @LightWingStudios for pulling this place together after the 1st site became Bantum fodder I see these guy as well as many others post and I pay attention because I kinda know them. I guess I just want to say Happy Holidays to all of you that make this place such a great destination in our internet travels.

Thanks guys! I am in the health care biz, so since covid-19 hit, I have not been able to post or participate nearly as much as I did back in the "old days", but I still do lurk, and I appreciate being part of the community!

Hey, Randy, you´ve been a part of AGF since you joined, a perfect fit!
Yeah, this is a great destination, a great home. This has been my home for some years now, but a
very special home from 2015-2016, when the generous hand of AGF helped me in my very bad years here in the dark south - and still helps -. Not sure it can be said of other forums. It´s has been my oasis ever since.

I disremember when I first discovered AGF could have been 2007? 8? 9? But it was the friendliest forum on the webs back then!
They didn't even ban me like most forums had done!
It has been thru several owners but (I think) this is the best iteration yet!

We've been thrown out by Major Tom and 2 or 3 other site transitions but here we are still.
It tells you something about a place when we all make time to come and wish each other well on a special day like today. AGF has been part of my family since somewhere around 2011 or2012 and hope that streak continues. Best wished for health, prosperity and peace to you all.

Seven years ago yesterday, I got started with guitar.
Soon after, I found this (the old one) site while researching good but cheap, or good with some upgrades, budget priced guitars.
I have learned so much from all of you, as well as getting to know you some based on the personal / life experiences you shared.

Thanks man! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all. We may be a little more sparse here than we were on the old board, but we have lots of great kind people here and it's awesome to have this place to hang out!
