In Thailand seeing that AC runs pretty much every day of the year I though it would be a good idea to get the three split inverter units in the house serviced. The local home center HomePro has a service unit and will come out to the house and clean and maintain any unit up to 24,000 BTU for an amazing 555 baht (promotional price) (about $17.50/US). I did not know what to expect but I really was doubtful for the price that they would be doing anything more than vacuuming and filter washing. I'm more concerned with clogged drain lines in these split units because when that happens, you get leaks in your ceiling or wall and get a real mess.

The great news is they showed up with a team of 4 people, basically disassembled each interior unit, flushed out the drain lines with pressurized water, cleaned every inch of the units inside and out, used drop cloths and special bags to catch leaks as they cleaned the inside units. I could not be more impressed.

Service with a smile too. I'll probably hire them back twice a year as AC units run cheaper when clean for sure.

$52.50 for more than 2 hours work and extremely detailed and professional about the whole thing. Can't beat it.
