Just for grins, I did today & it has nothing whatever to do with guitars.

Did AGF.com ever point to agileguitarforum.com?

It did when MooMoo bought it.
I disremember whether it was Major Tom or the guy before him who did it.

Wonder what someone got selling the domain to a big asset management fund like that.

I'm satisfied to know that their plans to turn us into a product failed in spectacular (and hilarious) fashion... I still laugh heartily when I think about it.

We f#@king WON.

I never knew agf.com was a thing, I always went to the full name.com
I'm glad we won, but we didn't really win, more like mitigate our losses. MOFO is one of those times on the interweb when I have to abstain from potty mouth (or fingers.) Glad we're still here but sometimes it feels like a returned animal from the Pet Cemetery.
Still, this is the extent of my social network.

We lost a lot of content, but I don't think that makes it a Pyrrhic victory. We're still here, instead of scattered to the four winds... Surviving is the greatest victory.

Stephen King reader here? I like many of their books - not all, and also, I haven´t read them all -; and some of the movie adaptations were done in a good enough way. The Dead Zone one of my favorites - the book; the movie adaptation sucks big time -.

Agree. We have our ups and lows here, as mentioned in another thread, but in the end, I´m happy we´re not scattered to the four winds, as you say.

Sounds like a waste of time & money to me.
Technically, whoever owns the forum (like Major Tom) owns the content.
And it is a safe bet the content was included with the sale of the forum.

The full name goes to momo. Not sure what happens when you get there since it requires a sign up.

I never actually registered. I have found thought that if you really get your google on, it is possible to find old threads if there is something you really miss. Google site:aguitarforum.com (insert keyword or phrase here) and i've found a few posts/pics I had "lost"

I think we are doing a good job of rebuilding and honestly it's the community that lives on. Kind of like moving into a new house or office building and just leaving all the old crap behind. The people are what's most important.

Does anyone still have a login at the MoMo site? I'm curious what it's like there. Almost made a burner account just to see.
If I had something witty to say, I'd put it here.

Tried a burner account, but the password never worked and I can't reset my password. Every time I make a new password (such as F*ckM0M0) it doesn't work for some reason...

Try resetting your ip address... I get permanently banned on this forum on a regular basis. But then I change my VPN server and all is forgiven. :)
