Happened LAST NIGHT apparently. I was in there downloading my pics earlier and got them all.

Nice. I like the succint "You have been banned" message. It don't get momo better than that.

I'm still able to get in over there. What puzzles me is the the three digit number of "guests." I wonder what that's about? It can't be people just using the site to send PMs as they've disabled new PMs and you'd have to be a member to use it anyway...

Hysterical thing is I actually told Tom I was going to start a new board after he verified, IN WRITING AND PUBLICLY on the old AGF, he had sold and transferred the domain to those other schleps...and that was last Tuesday the day he announced his "hand off" and cut OUR hands off. So it actually took them a week to boot me even though I gave them fair warning. Bet they didn't expect a follow thru on my end, have a new site up and running so quickly, the carp storm and blow back from the membership, a mass exodus to The New AGF when it came up, and the actual collapse of their entire plan right in front of their faces.

So now they are left with not one, but TWO useless steaming piles of Dog Blizzle...the old AGF AND MOFO.

Guests are fake, the higher number of members and actives make the stats better.

I just took a look and my name is still up but this is what it looks like

that is the problem with their boards concept. You can literally make a new board with a direct link in mere moments.

I can still access the old site, but they did delete a post of mine from last night. They didn’t ban me yet but I think they were a little offended by the video I posted. What do y’all think?

Been wondering the same thing. Seems like there's no upside to them leaving it in place for even another minute.

While I'm banned on the old AGF, my content and user account still exist. I can see it all if I logout and view it as a guest. I'm not holding out hope that they actually delete my account and content as I requested.

I suppose they could accomplish the same thing by just redirecting aguitarforum.com to MOMO AGF but obviously there's got to be something else going on. They can't be that incompetent, can they?

2) They're reconsidering their decision? (DOUBTFUL)

I'm sure they had no idea how vindictive the AGF membership could be. Going forward, unless they have some way of automating the process, it's going to be a really labor intensive job for them to police the MOMO site for stuff like that...

You're right...Assuming the DB migration went perfectly (it didn't of course because their Backend DB isn't mapped field for field like the Old AGF one).

It didn't and blew up in their face.

Sorting all YOUR posts and going thru each and very one of them. PITA. Just takes patience and determination to get it all before they pull open a trap door on you (us).

Remember this...Tom purchased a "CANNED" package which was WRITTEN in PHPBB and that sat ON TOP of the existing DB so many of the functions here are identical to there. Example...our "Quick Links" menu allows you to just pull up ONLY YOUR POSTS.
