Nashville's Storyteller Tom T. Hall R. I. P.

No cause of death was given but he was 85 years old & died at home. The best way to do it IMHO.

While he was best known for writing (When Mama Socked It To) The Harper Valley P.T.A.
He always wrote songs that spoke to me like:

The art of storytelling is way too unappreciated anymore, always loved Tom's songs since I was a kid, though I'll be honest I didn't have a name or face to the voice for far too long.

Rest in peace Tom, still seems too early no matter what age.

I’m not a big country fan by a long shot. But country lost two greats the past week. First Nanci Griffith and then Tom T. Hall. I’ll miss them both. RIP Tom and thanks for the great stories.
