I think Sound Guitar Works may also be an offshoot of USACG employees after Tommy sold it, and new management may not have been so good to work for. I likely have some aspects wrong, but I remember something like this.

Well, I just read up on it and it's a big soap opera. Sound Guitar Works seems to have some old employees.

Yup, Soap Opera seems right. Not sounding as interesting as a "Tele-novella", but I did get a good maple capped maple neck from SGW not too long ago. "Tommy" was a nice guy to deal with and product was very good.
