This was on heavy rotation at a super-awesome summer job (Crater Lake Nat'l Park). Coincidently, there was a girl there who looked. just. like. Belinda. She smooched me one night the campfire. Too many Strawberry wine coolers that evening, me thinks. She was way outta my league.
'Brings back memories of a wonderful, sun-baked summer days and fun times with new friends.

Doesn't seem like a guilty pleasure to me. If I went through my playlists I'm sure I'd find many that some might consider embarrassing.

About anything Dick Dale had a hit on, they were all "summer songs."
Come to think of it, I tend to remember things like "A Summer Song" much more.
Tho I played a lot of Dick Dale but no Chad & Jeremy that I can remember:

^ Reminds me of Wil Smith, his father. I spent a year expanding my best friend's truck business. Wil owned a successful West Philly company called Acrac Ice, who were excellent customers. Wil would have lunch with us and shoot the breeze. He was one of those great people with a great, American Dream success story.

"Those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer" by Nat King Cole
"Summer in the city" by The Lovin' Spoonful
"The warmth of the sun" by the Beach Boys
"The boys are back in town" by Thin Lizzy (reminds me of the crazy summer of 1976 and making out with a girl I just met on the boardwalk, which was an amazing event for a 14 year-old boy)

Means something totally different to me now than it did as a kid in Summer 1976, but I still like me some Afternoon Delight.

Not really a guilty pleasure per se, but it has summer written all over it - and this version specifically is one of my favorites for cruising down the street or tapping your toes in the heat.

Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hays have a pretty funny podcast. I dig his delivery and just saw this the other day on Netflix.

a super-awesome summer job (Crater Lake Nat'l Park).
Unrelated to the ostensible topic of this thread, but just wanted you to know that I've been fascinated by the Old Man of Crater Lake since first reading about it. Have you seen it up close?

Theres a tree like this growing out of tenaya lake too in yosemite. I know its a shallow lake in much of it but I think some is pretty deep and where the tree is I could tell it was at least 5 ft deep. Not sure how its possible.

This is as guilty as I get.
I like this song alot but dont like anything else they do it seems. But this guitarist rocks the snot out of it.
I live harmonies but I think most of their sound is just too girlie/beegees. Also not a big eagles fan as it feels similar.
For some reason csn harmonies seems to own my soul. Them and alice in chains. I guess I like harmonies w dirt?

The "Old Man" isn't growing out of the bottom. Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States, almost 2000 feet. The "Old Man" is a 30-foot tall tree stump that's been bobbing vertically since at least 1896.

Just last month I was in yosemite at the remote tuolumne store and alice in chains is playing. Turns out the young super cutie little asian is running the tunes and aic is her fav band.
Instant triple points winner sexy.
