Don't know how I missed hearing of him all these years. RHOP the man is or was a freak attached to an upright bass.

Mad skillz but are they playing the same song? I don't have the capacity to enjoy jazz fusion, think.

[/quote Lol yes Tommy Joe Pass is Playing Charlie Parker's Sax part while Neils Plays Miles' trumpet part. Nightingale is just the old jazz standard bopped up. Full tilt bebop is a bitch to get into. But fusion yeah that's tough for me too and I get bop. What gets me is the way he plays the double like a guitar as far as melody and speed. He was doing this at 19 too back in the mid 60's

Yeah, I'm familiar with this cat... He was a monster. I didn't know Rick Beato made a video about him.... That's cool.

Tom, did you watch the last video? I think you'll like that one. It's neither Fusion, nor Bebop.
