I was just looking at the
manual for the Ampeg SVT 210AV speaker cabinet, and I ran across this bit...
Here are some of the features packed into your new Ampeg SVT 210AV speaker cabinet:
...
• Foot cups on the top panel allow secure stacking of a Micro-VR amplifier or up to four empty shot glasses.
Por qué no four
full shot glasses, is what I want to know! Now I'm a little annoyed I didn't move the foot cups when I transformed the cabinet from vertical to horizontal!

Why the fuck would you ever set down a shot glass that isn’t empty yet? Do they need to spell it out in the manual for you?
1) Someone hands you a full shot glass
2) Drink contents
3) Set empty shot glass into an open foot cup on the top panel of the amplifier
4) If you run out of empty foot cups, buy more amplifiers.

Well, you might want to have more than one shot, and not all of us have roadies on full shot-glass-holding duties!

By far my favorite hidden term comes from a software company called Alchemy Mindworks. They make photo editing software and related downloads, free versions of which are available. On the terms and conditions is the following:
Should you fail to register any of the evaluation software available through our web pages and continue to use it, be advised that a leather-winged demon of the night will tear itself, shrieking blood and fury, from the endless caverns of the nether world, hurl itself into the darkness with a thirst for blood on its slavering fangs and search the very threads of time for the throbbing of your heartbeat. Just thought you'd want to know that.
Alchemy Mindworks accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or expense caused by leather-winged demons of the night, either.
It's here if you want to confirm:

So if you fail to register the software, you end up with a vindictive ex-wife that you may never even have been married to? That’s some seriously bad shit!

LOL @aullucci At least it isn't flying monkeys in bellhop uniforms. Those things creep me out.
