** fence porn update **. Worked-over in Colorado. Promising guilty pleasure movie
Posted: Sun Jan 24, 2021 8:10 pm
I finished a huge fencing project today.* There was a lot of snow to clear, but it was beautiful outside. I'm exhausted, brain dead and have a rare opportunity to control the television while Big Momma is in the other room sewing. I can't muster the brain cells needed to watch anything educational. Instead. I've started this movie which has some promise. Nazi battles and possible zombie content. I'm 15 minutes in, eating a meatball sandwich (probably the first of two) and am in hog heaven.
Not much of a post.
"Overlord"
*Photo of the "homestretch" from last month. Two feet additional feet of snow since (hence the delay) but sunny weather today. The lady has no money to buy new posts and rails. The materials are/were scraps donated by some neighbors. Lots of triaging of the inventory,
Back to the movie.
**Update**
I took advantage of the nice afternoon to take some pics. Every rail was off of the fence at some point to mend, substitute, toss, etc. No fewer than 15 new posts were sunk. The finished project is not pretty, but considering the materials I was provided, my lack of skills and the enormity of the task, I'm proud of what I accomplished.
Quick note: I was x-country skiing in two feet of snow and dropped my phone somewhere along the way. I backtracked and used the owner's phone to periodically call mine. I finally located it in a spot where I had to climb under the fence. Thank goodness she was home.
Oh. I set up a camera while I took photos. You can see Izzy and I hustle by while while taking photos. 'Love Steamboat,
