Some pretty impressive architecture and tasty looking food there for sure. I bet that car turns heads when it's out on the road too, or is old iron like that trendy?

Nah..that car was in an underground parking garage in the Serviced Apartment we stayed at new Year's Eve. The building has an office tower and is unofficially known as a Korean Mafia spot. Next to this car were several Porsches, a Ferrari and a Mercedes..all Vintage.

Wow, that's quite a garage. I wonder if the German mafia has a similar garage filled with vintage Kia's?

All I know there's certainly no shortage of German pork knuckle available in all the stores...ha ha ha. I guess they've cornered the pork specialty market

Oh ..didn't get a pic.. But when we were parking we took a wrong turn and there was a vintage Rolls Royce tucked away in what seemed to be a car graveyard.. A dark corner of the underground garage that presumably general public are not supposed to be in. Didn't get a pic as a security guy came running to direct us to proper parking spot. If I were more of a conspiracy nut , one might presume that this is a repository for 'misplaced' exotic vehicles that have somehow become separated from their rightful owners.

I visited a friend in Brooklyn a few years back and we went past a place that he said was a Mafioso hang out and it looked like they look in the movies. Bunch of guys hanging around outside a little bar and in Brooklyn no idea where they were parked let alone what they were driving. Come to think of it that cat's a drummer so no telling if that story was true or not it could have been Rabi's or Priest incognito as far as I knew. Just kidding I don't mean any disrespect to any of our percussionist

When you want real Korean food...going to the 'headquarters' of the Korean Mafia in Bangkok is a good choice.
