You Know Your Beard is Getting Long When . . .

The waitress brings you your take-out box and this is written on it . . .
I had a gig last night at a brewery with my full band. Beer and food is included in the deal. Some of the guys come early and eat first, and others eat between sets. Timing your order so it arrives between sets is a dicey proposition and I don't even try doing that anymore. I personally like to drink early and order my food to go during the last break. That way it arrives before the end of the last set and I can eat while driving home. That's exactly what I did last night. The waitress left it on my side of the stage and I hurriedly loaded it in the car with the rest of my gear.
In the darkness of the car on the way home I'm chomping on this burger and nibbling on fries. It was really cold last night so I brought my guitars in but left the food in the car, as it would be as good as putting it in the fridge. This morning I go out to the car to retrieve the food to warm up for breakfast and I finally see what the waitress/kitchen staff wrote on the take-out container.
Anyways, I'm out the door right this second to play a show at Lake Norman Brewery in Denver, North Carolina. Come on out if you're in the area, I'm playing from 1-4 PM. It's a benefit for animal rescue. There's good beer and good looking wealthy ladies who live on the lake.
