Metallica's "Blackened" whiskey

Even though I saw this because of my interest in sipping spirits, I didn't want to place this in the whisky thread, because this has less to do with whisky.
Take a cue from Bob Dylan: if you don't sell enough records, sell liquor
I'm not going to run out and buy it, but I like the various play on words to compare music and whisky making. And this has a chance of being a decent blend (a blend of straight whiskies means that it only contains integrity spirits like bourbons and ryes and the brandy cask finishing is a nice touch, it's a pretty popular trend in American whiskey now). The price is not outrageous, although we're not told the age of the distillates, so we can assume no less than 2 years, but that's about it. I haven't found info on who distills and matures it (meaning it is most likely sourced from MGP of Indiana). I haven't heard before that Metallica's musicians (or Bob Dylan for that matter) are into whisk(e)y, so on its face it's a commercial enterprise. Nothing wrong with that. It's more apparel/merchandise than whiskey, but the cask strength offering is a nice enough touch.
