That's a lot of sandwiches. On a somewhat serious note, what the heck do you do with an alligator after you kill it? I would imagine the skin is valuable for making into things, but do they make use of the meat too? Especially on a big ol' feller like that? I know that when harvesting deer, a big old trophy buck that's been living in the woods eating acorns for years usually tastes a lot like a big old animal that's been eating acorns for years

They ought to... It's a sin to kill an animal and leave its carcass to rot. Besides... Gator's good eatin'.

They usually use the skin, the meat, and make stuff from the teeth, and feet.

Do people eat it or is it used for other purposes ( animal feed, etc )? I've eaten a lot of things that run around in the woods but never had alligator before, never really even heard of anyone eating it either.

People eat it. It is pretty darn good. I have had alligator tail, fried for the most part. There used to be a restaurant chain called RJ Gators that specialized in off the wall foods, Gator tail being their marquee dish. Also had fried rattlesnake and I forget what all else. I will see if one of their menus still exists online.
EDIT: Looks like they are still around but with a waaaay more boring menu. Gator Tail seems the be the only "wild" item still on their menu.

It sucks that our lakes and rivers spend several months in a cold hardened state, but at least we can swim in them without fear of shit like THAT eating us during the summer months. I prefer to be at the top of the food chain not near the top!

I was at one of our state parks recently and one of the employees there told me they installed the sign in the pic below when "NO SWIMMING" signs did not work.
