Buyers regret?

I sold a Cordoba C5 last night on reverb. Packed it up and had it shipped out this morning. It will be delivered to the buyer tomorrow.

So tonight at 10:30pm he messages me asking me to cancel the order?!?

He says that there are three marks on the headstock and this isn’t normal for a C5. The Cordoba website lists these marks as “non traditional” guitars. The guitar was sold as is, plenty of clear pictures including the label inside. Sweetwater’s website also shows these same marks.

Do people expect individuals to return things like amazon?

If the marks he's referring to were in the photos and he paid, it is his guitar. Reverb will back you up - I would open a case with them before it even gets there. Did he communicate his request to you via reverb messaging? Do ALL of your messaging with him via reverb, they can then see it.

Yeah he sent me the messages through reverb. You can see the three marks he’s referring to in the fourth pic here.

The guitar had plenty of clear pics. Nothing was hidden
It’s a cheap guitar so I’m not super concerned. More annoyed than anything

Where do you open up a case? Not seeing it on the website.

Just initiate a chat session in the lower right hand corner of the browser window where it says "need help?". Tell them what the guy said, they should be able to see the message too. Not sure if the chat is staffed this late at night but they usually respond very quickly. I would recommend against any replies to the buyer either other than what you have already done for now.
