Said goodbye to the best dog ever last night. After 10 years his heart had failed and he was in bad shape. Letting him go was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. We got him for my son for his 4th birthday and they were inseparable best friends.


I am heartbroken.

Very sad. Dogs lives are so short, but our lives couldn’t be the same without them.

Sorry to hear. My little brother had a short legged beagle growing up. Don't know if there is a better breed for an active boy

Hardest day of a dog owners life.

Very sorry. Short lives are the only thing I hate about dogs.

Just had the thought that Maybe dogs are jr Angel's sent from heaven to look out for us while we think we are taking care of them. It's so sad and I'm so sorry your little angel had to graduate early and get his wings. He must have done a very good job.
Teaching loss and love is the final exam.

Maybe we should have called ourselves the dealing with pet loss forum.

My condolences... Pets are people to me. It's no less painful losing a pet than a dear friend.... Because they are dear friends.

I feel ya. I still miss the dog I had as a kid.

So very sorry for your loss. I am still a little numb from losing our dog in April. First time in our lives that we have not had at least one dog running around the ranch. Your beagle looked like a really cool dog.
