New Floor In My "Home Office"

Since I will be working from home until at least until January 2nd, we decided to get some new flooring in my "home office", also known as by basement studio. It's a rubber type material that comes in 4 ft. sections and snaps together. I didn't install it myself but after watching the crew put it in, I probably could have.
I thought that this would be a good time for an current family picture as well.

Now, you just need some Of that rubber on the walls and you’ll be nice and comfy in your jacket with the sleeves that do up in the back!
Looks good... I wish I had a space like that to work in over here.

That looks great Spike , no kidding I was looking into that this weekend. I'm glad you posted it, reinforces my desire. I have installed it before. I was also thinking heated pad under small area rug, heated floor is too big of a project.

That is a great idea! A heated floor was on my wish list too but like you said, the floor was too big.

Looks great and what a nice office/guitar cave space in general. I've also been working from home but with 3 kids there's very little space to call my own so I have a combination office, living room, guitar room, rec room! We did that snap together flooring in our kitchen and dining room last summer - it's pretty easy to install and looks nice too.

Looks nice. We just got the fake wood planks to do our hallway. If this is the 1/2" thick stuff that feels good on your feet? I'd love to use it instead.

Thanks. Nope, it’s the thinner flooring. Still a great improvement over the painted concrete.

What kind of underlayment did they use? Do you have DriCore under there?

I’m not 100% sure what they used.
