The way the Mac Davis song above ends makes me wonder if he will get his wish at the end of the song........

Add in the very longtime drummer for Johnny Cash Fluke Holland. He had an impressive career and I know a guitarist that played with him for years and spoke to what a great guy he was. They say he invented that train like rhythm.

Mac had several hits (by other people) that he wrote.
Bigger than anything he recorded himself.
The one you listed was probably the biggest.
He was a member of the "Songwriter's Hall of Fame."

Will Anyone even mention when the 3rd tour drummer for Christina aguilera dies? Will anyone even know? Now its most stars and hired guns. Bands are a dying breed. Caring about music is a dying breed.

Never heard of either of them. Still, it's a sad day when we loose any talented musician anywhere and I'll offer my condolences to this who may have connected with the music these people made.
