Hey brother how's it going up by you. The news paints a very bad picture of the after math of the storm. Hope you and the family are alright.

Mickey has been pretty safe through past storms, knows how to budget his resources, and has somewhat distant but good neighbors.

Is the Panhandle situation that bad?
In a previous post we talked about flood water, and his take was that the soil in his area could absorb quite a bit.

He may be out of power?

I'm fine JL.
But Mikey has not been here since he sold the forum to Jeffc several years ago.

Nothing to speak of aside from the rivers/creeks. If you live on a riverbank you got flooded.
A few low lying neighborhoods got some.
That's about it.

Pensacola is a whole 'nother story!

A girl I know bought a house outside of Gulf Shores a month ago. She said it sounded like standing behind a jet engine all night. Jet engine mixed with trees breaking in half and hitting the ground. She said her house was ok but a couple of sheds were damaged by trees. The forest behind her house lost about half of its trees.

Another friend in escrow right now with a 130 year old home just east of Pensacola. He said the house is ok but he is afraid he might not be able to get hurricane insurance now that this happened.
