Unfortunately orientation of iPhone images has been an ongoing discussion for years, since iOS v5!
It's actually an Apple issue, rather than a forum issue, which remains unresolved.

So I’ve been doing some research here, and found a workaround.
It is 100% the iPhone that isn’t complying with standards.
If you edit the photo on the iPhone in any way, and save it, the orientation is good on the forum.
