Yeah it was LDTC all one word, I'm gonna have to check my Photobucket or Dropbox I think lol. I haven't had those guitars for years now.

Yeah, as i posted earlier, your threads on MOMO only go back to April 2013. However, you can access them with a dummy MOMO account and print them in their entirety to a PDF with only a few steps rather than every individual page:LancerTheGreat wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 2:12 am Yeah it was LDTC all one word, I'm gonna have to check my Photobucket or Dropbox I think lol. Not sure why they would spend so much time with it. They failed and there's no activity at all on both the old site and on momoboard... It's too late.
FWIW, I've still got my membership on both the old AGF and MOMO sites despite numerous postings here that make my activism in trying to track down old members and maneuvering the MOMO site apparent. Of course, it shouldn't come as a surprise that their incompetence shows in that regard as well...

My thoughts at this point is that they've "Thrown In The OLD AGF Towel".

Finally got the ban hammer on the .com site, since all my recent posts were directing people here...
The momo board is telling it's private, though I can still see my own threads.

You can see others' threads as well by searching for their user name, selecting it and then clicking on the "Posts" tab when it comes up. It can take a while though, the MOMO site is incredibly slow...mighty_duck wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 2:01 pm Finally got the ban hammer on the .com site, since all my recent posts were directing people here...

Well, turns out I got banned from the .com site. I was a bit bummed honestly. I've never said a negative word to anyone over the last few years. If anything I tried to contribute with my tunes regularly, share excitement and give constructive advice when possible.
I find it a bit childish to be honest. To go through all that trouble of banning people because they joined another site?
Anywho, I'm really glad all my internet guitar buddies are here to usher in a new era of guitar porn, funny memes and comraderie.
So I will leave this here for your enjoyment as it won't feel like home without this famous picture:

Damn, brother...that is some super sleuthing! How did you manage that?SalteeDog wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 10:16 am Hi guys. Re. Hbowner. I'm pretty sure I know who he is based on a few rare postings in the Harley Benton facebook group.
One of his last postings in the old forum was this image (as Vesa)

I believe that's the same room as this
which is a picture on the facebook page of the man in question.

This is an OPEN Board. You DO NOT need a LOGIN ID to READ the posts here. They can/could lurk and collect IDs to ban on the old site if they wanted to. Of course that would be so paranoid and low rent on their part it would be ridiculous. Wouldn't put it past them tho. When you see a "hostile takeover" blow up in your face along with any purported investment, desperate people do desperate things.

I don't spend a lot of time on facebook but am a member of the HB group there and I recall a left handed guy posting there a while back with several HB strats including right-handed models. Lefties who own several upside down HB strats are rare enough these days. Especially those living in Sweden whose first name is Vesa.Damn, brother...that is some super sleuthing! How did you manage that?
The photo is just the final proof that the facebook guy and our Hbowner are one and the same.
you know this is the second time in 20 years ive lost a home guitar site

I don't remember that one but I do remember when the Squire51 modder's forum shut down. That sucked!

I totally remember guitar.com. I was there almost since the beginning.
I think I was using Narshadda as a username back then. Definitely some good times and good people. I still chat with a few via social media.

It wouldn't be the same place without you Bruce!
Glad you finally made it. Been wondering whether I had ticked you off on the phone.

Thanks, Mickey. Not ticked off in any way, I consider you among my favorite forum friends. We've got a lot invested in this community. Too bad you don't actually live a couple of doors down, we'd have a hell of a time goofing off! My young neighbors now are about half scared of me, but I can tell that damn sure wouldn't be your disposition.
At the moment we were talking, I was blowing down I-24, going right past JeffBeck's exit near Calvert City, KY, heading home to Nashville from Tiptonville, TN. That's a 430 mile round trip. I'm sure I would not have have figured out what was going on with forum otherwise.
I figured if you went to the trouble to call me and leave a message, that you had something you thought I needed to know. Only a loyal forum friend would bother to do that! That gives me confidence that the AGF community is going to thrive here at our new address.

It comes up as mofo now. So sad. But the show 13000 users so that's bound to suck some people in. Someone wanders in asks a question then wonders why no one will answer
