I'm tired of event hosts choosing young "Grammy Nominated" artists to sing the National Anthem and allowing them to make a mockery of it.

I tuned into the All-Star Game Home Run Derby in time to see Ingrid Andress (who?) absolutely ruin the song. Four-time Grammy Nominee?! 'Never heard of her - but then again the Grammy's mean nothing these days. She started poorly and ended in flames. Doesn't anyone vet these people?! Somebody had to have watched her practice, right?!

It was embarrassing and the organizers should be ashamed.

What's wrong with having a vetted service member sing the anthem? In my experience they are classy people and do the song justice.

I am really upset.

Bump. This submission made it a whole three hours before disappearing.

Board moderators: Why are my posts being taken down so soon after I submit them?

Man, all this complaining makes me feel like Rick Beato.

I read that she said she was drunk.

That's the worst tone-deaf performance I've ever heard....and I've heard plenty

Story this morning is that she is entering rehab for substance abuse...likely a hail mary to try and save her career

Holy cow: I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!

She's going for the sympathy vote and make some good coin on a come-back tour.

Looks like the country music version of the Amy Winehouse story. There's always an enabler(s) on the perimeter.

Wow! She chose daisy dukes as proper attire for the job. She was black out drunk. She had to be with organizers leading up to show time, did they not see she was in no shape to go on? They probably had to hold her hair shortly after she made that attempt at singing.

I kept thinking that the color guard probably wanted to shoot her.

Thanks mickey. I must say, his Rockets Red Glare and Bombs Burst In The Air were pretty good.
