Wayne Kramer, guitarist for the MC5 (and others, such as Was (Not Was) for a while) passed away the other day at the age of 75. If you're not familiar with Kramer and the MC5, definitely check him out...he was way ahead of his time, an early pioneer of the Detroit punk scene. And the MC5 were one of the few "legitimately dangerous" rock bands of the time.
RIP Wayne Kramer

RIP Wayne.
I don't think we would have had any genre of punk if it were not for MC5, who inspired the NY Dolls, Ramones, etc.

Despite the fact that his humbucker in the middle position of a Strat thing never did catch on, Wayne was very influential in a broader sense.

KICK OUT THE JAMS MOTHERFUCKER!!!
I was just watching something a few days ago mentioning him. They gave no sign of illness or his passing.
Damn we've been losing a lot of 'em.
