First time rock crawling/off roading in Arizona. Had a blast, but next time I'll bring the kids.

Got some nice pin stripes to remind me of the day...

The trail was a little more than I was expecting as a 1st time ever (totally different than mid west trail running)

I was right behind a Jeep Gladiator most of the trip, but he had a butt load wrapped up in his rig and it was probably like a Sunday cruise for him, I was glad to have a good view of someone that knew what they were doing. ImageImageImage

Put many a mile off road on my old 73 Bronco back in the 80's. Manual steering, manual wet drum brakes, manual transmission. Other friends had Scouts, Jeeps, Willy's, Blazers, Power wagons, Ramchargers, etc. Between me and my dad, we had over 10 Broncos from 67' to 79'. Have to dig out some pictures.

Nice. Beware going down the rabbit hole though! A friend at work is part of the Jeep Cult... in the time I've known him, he's bought, lets see, 6 Jeeps (all new), and dropped at least $100k in upgrades across the various Jeeps. He complains about how much it all costs all the time! Lol

I had a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Willys model and I loved it. Manual transmission and it ran great. Guess what you can't do on a 2016 Jeep? Align the front end. There is no adjustment for toe-in. I think they can adjust camber but otherwise good luck. I started to get a slight vibration at interstate speeds to so I took it in for alignment. The young man worked awhile then called my out to the shop. He showed how much it as out and informed my that on the '16s there was no fix. I called the dealership where I bought it because I was skeptical. It took three representatives at the dealership before someone finally had enough knowledge to let me know it was true. I still miss it and I may get another but I will do my homework this time.
