Painting today...a lot of taping ..but happy with final result. Next install IKEA wall mounted bamboo wood bookcase/desk and then get nice chair and lamp and figure out the best place for a few guitars.

A chest that you sit on is economical, space wise, storage wise. maybe a special one for comfort, or a deep piano stool/chest with some room for your heels to be tucked under if you so chose to sit that way.
I'ld look toward the greater wild world we live in for solutions....i.e. TBJ's collection,..Guitars on walls just makes sense. I do like the idea of guitars on walls in a perpendicular orientation to wall. Someone here was getting those brackets compatable with slot-wall display board for easy shifting around of hangers.

Anyone else plan future guitar purchase "color" selections based upon the colors you recently painted the walls they will hang on ?
I already have a surf green Strat type...(lighter in shade than the walls), and I'm thinking a Natural 335 clone and a Burgundy Mist Tele would go well....was looking at a blueBurst LP type but something doesn't sit right against the Seafoam Green Walls. I think we need a fashion consultant with guitar color swatches to come in and advise...ha ha ha ha
