Stanley Jordan tuned in all fourths. But he was trying to find a better fit for his tapping style.

The guy in the video is making some very pretty sounds with his alternate tuning. Didn't watch the whole thing, does it work ok for power chords?

Stanley doesn't play guitar, he plays "lap piano" !!! :)
