I have to admit to being a long time Tom T. Hall fan.

Songs like: The Year Clayton Delaney Died & Old dogs, children & watermelon wine always spoke to me like few ever do.

For example, my Clayton Delaney was a guy named David Suits who couldn't stay sober long enough to hold a job.

But who could play note-for-note anything I could name that Chet had recorded.

Anyhoo, I found this today, a Tom T. Hall song I had never heard before.

The song is decent, but that has to be the single lamest music video I have ever seen!

I seriously doubt that Tom T. (or his record label) had anything to do with the video which was probably done by whoever posted it to youtube. :D

I always liked Leo Kottke’s version of Tom T. Hall’s Pamela Brown.

Wonder how many of us have a "Pamela Brown" in our past?
I know I sure do! I was upset about it back at the time
but losing her was probably the best thing that ever happened to me! :D
