BIL had this MiniDisc player/recorder deck and I think it still sits in a corner of my attic, out here- no model number on hand but a rather nice and massive unit.
I can donate, or toss in the electronics at the dump, or try to sell it, but with no way to test it. Retro audio folks are crazy enough...!
Long shot, anybody with MiniDisc remnants?
Old MiniDisc unit?

- Gearlist: A few LP's, a Strat, a Tele and a few acoustics.
Looks like you can still buy media and there are a fair number out on Ebay- match up the model number and see if it's worth anything before you pitch it.

Since I made the OP, I found that, in fact, there is a MiniDisc forum...!
With some luck, I could hook up with a local into these things.
