Was I the only person that, as a kid, listened to this - both sides, from beginning to end -? Even today, as a well grown up adult, still listen to it. And I love it! It´s from 1977.

Nope, not that one. My 1977 was Ram Jam, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Eagles, ELO, Led Zeppelin

Nope, but my wife wore out more than one set of vinyl of the official "Star Wars Album" which was 2 or 3 records.

I started listening to that stuff maybe from around 1984 or 1985? Glad I did!

:)

Not sure if it sounded like you´re not that much into SW?

I´m not a die hard fan myself, but SW represents joyful memories of my chilhood, that I still enjoyed until recently. SW is now over for me, though. It´s just a good memory now.

My late wife was a huge SW fan, as well as a huge Star Trek fan, etc. Anything Sci-Fi or Sci-Fantasy.
I've always enjoyed such things but never to the extent she did.
When she died, she left behind enough Sci-Fi books to stock a medium size public library.

I've never heard it, but that album cover made me look twice as to what's going on there. Lol. Galactic Funk, indeed.

What´s the word you use, cheesy? Does it fall into cheesy category? :)

Lol, I mean yeah, its got that 70's era cheese to it, but I was being a little vague... it looks like a rather sexual position at first glance :-)

I now that I've listened to the clip, I do remember the song. What's weird is how that actually survived, considering how much is from John William's soundtrack. That wasn't licensed, was it?

Well, I don´t know if it was licensed. I would think so, but don´t really know.

LOL yeah, kind of a sexy Star Wars :)
