A question about PMs on the old forum, in recent past

A week+ ago I wanted to clean up my PMs on the old forum, and came to realize I could not delete the ones I wanted to go away- no delete option.

I was surprised, as I really think I was able to do just that before, say, six months ago.

- was I mistaken believing you could delete PMs?
- could the option have been locked very RECENTLY, on purpose?

HMMM. I don't know. I don't remember if I ever tried to delete any of my old messages (due to extreme laziness). But that wouldn't shock me to find out they had been fiddling with things like that in an attempt to keep stuff.

Since the most recent software update (prior to last week) you have not been able to delete PMs over there.

Ah. Functionality changed, at some point.
A coincidence.

Over here, on dot.net, it looks like you can delete a PM - I wrote a test PM to you, two days ago, and as the author, I have a delete option.

Yes, you can delete them here but there is alimt to the number you can have @ one time.
