Did you transfer from QWERTY to Dvorak? If so, how long did it take you to adapt your muscle memory?
I did! It took me around a week and a half to get used to it and honestly, I like the change. I actually type slightly faster on Dvorak hahahaha!
Nice. I'm not sure why, but the idea of changing away from QWERTY scares me. Maybe it's doing all the rebindings for the games I play too and all my hotkeys for my code editors...

But yeah, the grey/black/orange board is my work board for my MacBook, has ZugGear T1 smoky housing switches with a few modifications (7 heavier springs) and a fully custom keycap set...
My main desktop board was/is the Drop CTRL with ZugGear T1 clear switches, but the circuit board has a voltage issue, so I have a HexGears Gemini inbound to put the switches into.

The change is scary at first but then it'll become second nature. It's essentially just learning how to type again. I programmed my keyboard to switch back to QWERTY incase a game doesn't play nicely with Dvorak or a family member wants to use my PC for a bit.

My current driver is that pink Tokyo60 with some zealiostotles and navy speeds. I also have a happy hacking keyboard as well. I'm not sure what other switch to try out on my Tokyo60 uwu

Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe someday I'll take the plunge and see how I feel about it.

I like the idea of the zealiostotles, but these T1s have me pretty happy. They're about as close to a Zealios clone as it gets, I'm fairly sure. 67g springs, exaggerated tactile bump, fairly quiet but not silent. I've had a lot of fun swapping springs and stems and casings around, though, and I started with blue switches, so having a clicky set would be fun to have around.

Zealiostotles are pretty fun to type with but it's pretty expensive and time consuming to replace all the stems and casings. Usually you need like 75 switches for a 60% keyboard since Aristotle switches are notorious for not working and also, they're really hard to find as well.
T1's are pretty nice to type on, from the little exposure I had to them. :)

We have not been there yet but are waaaay overdue for a trip. As soon as Rona settles down a bit and states start opening up, we can start our exploration again!

That is pretty cool. Where do you get your parts?
I usually get my parts off sellers on reddit or visit online shops dedicated for keyboards such as novelkeys. Apparently it's a bigger hobby than I thought but it's pretty cool. There's something satisfying about typing on a keyboard made by you for you. :)
I'm going to have to give that a try. Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

I hear you! We live in NC and there breweries everywhere. It’s sort of a running joke with my wife and me. If we see a building going up, we say it must be another brewery.

My buddy carter built up his own keyboard. It has some really fancy keys on it. I'd bet he's got an least $300+ into it! one looks like the ocean!

Retired IBEW electrician. Been living the dream for four years. We both retired a few months apart, bought a beautiful country home in rural northern Mi. Fishing anytime I want in the big Lund, or the baby Lund, or 30 feet from my man cave door is our pond. Monster hybrid gills, perch to 14 1/2 inches, and bass to 7 lbs. I'm the only guy in our state with two state record fish on the books, even though both are prior records. I'm thinking I could probably get a third one. I love hard water fishing as well.

I personally believe retirement is highly underrated.

Things that make me go

Indoor and outdoor gardening

Huge outside garden 120' x 60'

Planting food plots for the deer

Keeping the bird feeders full

Tying up fishing rods from blanks complete with custom thread art

Tying flies

Supplemental feeding the hybrid gills small floating pellets about 7 months of
the year and then watching them boil the water feeding. Like piranha and fun to watch.

Grooming the trials in our woods

Wildlife photography - over 70 bird species out of 120 or so in Mi, I've been able to get
pics of from my man cave. Or, how about watching a doe give birth to twins, while her
twins from the year prior watched from 50 feet away. My wife and I would have never
been able to witness such an event living/working in the big city.

Mowing 3 acres of yard with my new riding mower. I've used it twice. 54" deck. It so much
nicer than the old Huskee I blew a head gasket on, that it's a joy to run.

Since retiring, I've had much more time for my music. 2 cd's

Watching 2 different food plots I plant for the deer, allows me to watch them all year,
and come hunting season, I know which one that I'll harvest. It's not the big bucks.
They get a pass. It's not does with fawns. Usually a year and half old doe with no fawn.
They are sometimes harder to see than the bucks, but I've got the time. Some years,
I choose not to take one, as the does all have fawns in tow. Pass.

I also collect coins with Walkers and Silver Eagles being my faves.

I'll still pull out the tool belt for family and friends, although there is a reason they call it work.

Some live to work.
Some work to live.

I'm the latter.

My new ride arrived from Ann Arbor to Salt Lake City last night. Took it up into the canyons for a ride today. Love it!

My collections aren't huge but I love to ride and I love to shoot. There is something about ringing a gong 150 yards away that is just plain fun.

I'm not particularly great at either but I enjoy the hell out of them none the less.

I've got a 2002 VFR, a 2013 Victory Vegas 8 Ball and a Vulcan 800 that is primarily the wife's, but I occasionally ride for a change. I had a Magna that was bobbed before that but reluctantly sold it a year or two ago. My little collection:

Thanks. It is so much nicer than what I expected. The semi-automatic transmission is remarkable. 1330 cc engine pulls me up the mountains with no problem. Also, feel so much more at ease on the freeways.
