Putting dog-ear P90s into semi-hollow? Easy or not?

So I was going through a box of parts that I hadn't looked through in many years, and I found two sets of dog-ear P90s. One silver, one gold. I couldn't for the life of me remember why I had them.
I just now remembered that after discovering how much I like P90s, I had gotten them to put in my two semi-hollows (Epiphone Dot, Douglas WNO-650).
So, is this easy or not? To put dog-ear P90s into my Douglas?
I should add that if I do, I will do the wiring the cheater's way: I'll just cut the pickup wires.

I did read this:
Pro Tip: make sure you connect the wires the right way round. Each pickup will have a live and a ground. If you connect the live wire of a new pickup to the ground wire of the old pickup you'll reverse the phase.

I would see if the cover will cover up all the screws holes and whatnot first.
Otherwise a p90 is longer than a humbucker so some routing may be required

I used a router and cut in back entry plates on my 2 Agile AS2000s. Now I can swap pups around easy.
Traced a backplate where I wanted, and set the router to about 1/2 depth to take a swath as deep as plate thickness, removed the rest, etc.
Didnt botch it, which is nice.

It would be a lot of work. Any maneuvering inside a semi-hollow body guitar, requires patience, fishing line and foul language.
Routing for a P-90 would require a jig which clears the router from the set neck fret board, conforms to the curves of the top and affords control at all times (lots of unintended consequences, with the smallest of router missteps). And like @Buddha Pickups mentioned, pre-check with the dog ear cover to see where you will end up with finish gaps, leftover holes, etc.
Me personally, I'd recommend having Tim or I build you humbucker-sized P-90s and doing a poor man's swap (cut the lead wires 1" from the base of the original pickups and splice in the new pups).

I went the opposite direction with my Agile Harm that came with AlNiCo P90's,
I had T.V. Jones wind me a TVJ Classic & Classic Plus in a P90 size/profile.
