Way too many manufacturers for sub-forums, but possibly go with "type" Pedals including, but not limited to

Hot Deals
Od / Distortion / Fuzz
Phaser / Flanger / Vibe / Filter
Boost / Buffers
Bass
Looper / Drum machines / Double Trackers
EQ / Emulators /
Reverb / Delay
Vintage

Something along those lines?

I would suggest just two subforums. “Pedals Jim has Owned” and “Pedals Jim hasn’t Owned Yet” :D

Might be a good place for a "Show your pedalboards" sub forum? Just thinking out loud.

VERY LONG list on one side, and short list on the other. Maybe a sub-sub forum is "Pedals Jim has owned more than Once"

Perfect Stranger those are some great subforums, and should keep everything well organized. Do you think it may make the forum seem a bit more "active" if there were fewer choices so that each subforum ended up with more posts? Like Hot Deals, Bass Pedals, Guitar Pedals, Digital/Modeling, and Show Your Pedalboard? It might make for easier reading through the threads and less back and forth between subforums.
