I thought maybe amp gurus like mozz and andrewsrea might find that thread interesting.
TGP doesn't let me cross-post there pictures.

Don't feel too bad, TGP does not let me look at their pics either.

I heard they were tweaked fenders with his own touches added. Perfectly straight wires and components. I don't think they are worth the mega bucks they sell for. Too personalized.

Yep, a modded Blackface circuit with extra gain. The “magic” comes from very careful build, hand selecting components to match and fine tune (when caps and resistors are rated +/- 10% this makes a difference), and of course the rarity since he does every amp himself and never went into production mode.
In addition to building amps, Dumble will clean up and mod Fenders for major artists. For example, Clapton’s low power tweed twins and some of his other amps are Dumble modded. I am not sure why, since the Fender custom shop is capable of doing the same thing for him. In contrast Joe B’s high powered tweed twins from his stage rig are bone stock Fender hand-wired reissues and the sound damn good to my ear.

Here is an example pic. I have a somewhat noisy twin reverb in my project queue that I am planning to clean up and rewire like this when the weather turns.

mickey if you're interested enough I'll download them all and rehost on imgur then post here. I have to be signed in to TGP to see pictures that are hosted on their own site. I prefer third party services. I'm just a bit busy making Linux containers for researchers and trying to understand the finer points of Apache Spark today.

Thanks for the offer but no need.

I do not have an account with TGP.

Thanks golem !
If you can post them here, as I don't have an account on TGP. I probably should.
From what I have seen consistently from folks who claimed to have traced the layout, is pretty consistent with mozz & Chocol8 's posts. He does his own chassis and uses a donor Fender amp for the transformers and turret board. I do believe his stick is hand choosing components to his and the artists' ear. The other thing is, he beefs up the B+ filter caps with bigger values. This helps reduce sag and for higher watt amps, makes the amp louder (clean headroom) with consistent bass frequencies.
His FET channel is along the lines of a Keeley Katana boost, before the first preamp tube.
I am also of the opinion that these are great, over-priced amps.

^THanks!
Yep - everything I have seen in other people's traces as described in my last post. I guess some of my amps (and one of yours) qualify as 'Dumblesque.'
