Howdy all!
Turned thirty last Friday and bought a new amp, ha! I picked up a blonde Blackstar Artist 15.
I have a short clip of illiterate shwanging but you get the idea of the sound I’m after -
I wouldn’t call myself familiar with the amp as it’s brand new but I have :
Guitar >TS9-DX >trem >delay >amp
Not turned on are a Wah and Fuzz.
Where’s the next direction? Compressor? Chorus?
Love to hear everyone’s thoughts!!

Congrats on the amp and Happy 30th! I like the blonde look of it. Blackstar s have a nice sound. Are you digging it so far? I imagine you will have to break the speaker in to really know, but...

So far so good on this puppy! 6L6 juiciness, wide frequency band, punchy cleans! This amp definitely has potential I need to unlock. I think the speaker sounds pretty darn good for brand new. It’ll definitely wear in in time.
I can’t wait to have some real time to devote to this amp and dialing it in just right. With life and having recently moved I’ve only had maybe four hours on it in two days. Need. More. Fret. Time!

That sounds enjoyable. Happy amp jams.

It’s been four months since I played through an amp with moving states and finally settling in. I’m definitely not used to hearing myself loud again haha!Partscaster wrote:That sounds enjoyable. Happy amp jams.

Lmao, I’m going to put together a few different sound samples from this amp and merge it to one cohesive video.
I felt that was the logical explanation of the excrement my fingers produced. Just hear the sound!! Hahaha
