I've been wanting a lefty Yamaha Pacifica for a few years now.
Really haven't had any luck finding them here in the US.
Anyone know of sources, or want to unload one?
TIA

Then you should try
out of the US.
(joke)
There´s one here for $150, though.
Good luck with your quest, hope you find it there soon!

I'm hoping not, but I may have to.
I'm hoping @tobijohn will chime in with one that he wants to sell.

Try this guy
http://newjerseyguitarandbasscenter.com
I recall seeing one there last fall. It may still be there. Those who have been to this store understand he's got maybe 150 guitars in a space made for say, 40. It's unreal. So not all of them are listed online. He's a good guy. Prices tend to be high, but give him a ring.
Store hours:
Wed, Thu, Fri: 11:00-6:00 Eastern
Saturday: 10:00-5:00 Eastern
Sun, Mon Tue and evenings:
Open by appointment

I've got a lefty Pacifica. It's an excellent low-budget guitar that with a little money put into it can be a great guitar.

So, what's better? SX Hawk? Or Yamaha Pacifica 112?
While we're at it, how does the Yamaha compare to the Ibanez GAX70?
I ask because I'm thinking about getting rid of my Ibby and maybe my Hawk, if I get a Yamaha.
Also, not sure if I'd rather have the black or the natural.
Not a big fan of most black guitars/basses.
The trials and tribulations of being a lefty.
Just like most other guitar companies, Yamaha has some great colors available.
Unless you're a lefty. No blue. No red. No green. No burst. No rootbeer.
Only zee black und zee natural.

No bueno. I tried to order one from Thomann.
I added it to my cart (natural finish because it was in stock).
I immediately received a message of "We are quite disappointed with Yamaha for preventing us from shipping to your country of choice. Please consider products of a different manufacturer or switch to another delivery country.Remove this item"
Ugh!
So, I'm back to square one. I am NOT paying $500 on Amazon for a $230 guitar.
Damn.
Looks like there are no new ones available at US retailers.

That sucks. Sorry to get your hopes up. I usually avoid black guitars, but I had never seen a black lefty Pacifica and that one was tempting. I’d would wait. They were sold here for years and one will show up.

I'm no expert at any of these but my 2 cents read is something like:
SX, good wood, not so great hardware
- and probably could use better pickups
Ibanez GAX, cheap, stay away
Pacifica, hidden gem

I got my GAX for cheap, cheap. I put a pair of Ceramic Agile humbuckers in it and like it a lot better with them.
But, I just can't get excited about the neck. It's so thin compared to my Callisto, Liquid, Hawk, and even my cheapo Sawtooth Tele.
Of course, I have a Squier Standard Tele neck and Anico pups I'm planning on putting in the Sawtooth.
I'd definitely get rid of the GAX to make room for the Pacifica. Probably sell it to the local pawn shop for whatever I can get for it.
First, I'll swap the craptastic original pups back into it.
I just wish the Pacifica 112V was available in lefty. A5 pickups and the humbucker is splittable.
I've got the bridge and middle pups covered, for the hawk.
I bought them from Tim (buddha).
I just need a better neck pup than original.
