Looks nice to me. The top is great. The neck 'shaving' is not very good-looking as on Agile's AL3200, but I guess it's functional on making upper fret access easier and more comfortable.

That neck contour looks a lot like the early Harley Benton LP\ - remember when those were the rage for a while? Someone should start putting together a list of all the different budget guitar brands that have risen to fame here and also their eventual fate.

Agile ( the OG ) - still kicking but with a pacemaker
Harley Benton - still stickin it to the Richman's Bastards
Firefly - i'm not on Facebook so I wouldn't know
Harpmaster/AJL - showed promise until HVAC failures doomed future production.
Blake Wright Guitars - put out of their misery (thankfully) after the first run of customs ( @honyock & i know he score on that )
The "AGF Custom" - this goes WAAAY back even prior to my time here....we need someone with super retro vision to fill in the blanks
Others?

I've wondered why we don't see more Les Pauls with belly carves like that, because it's one way to get some weight relief and add comfort at the same time.

I'd add IYV to the list. I only have one, but I like it a lot, and the price was crazy low ($158 shipped), brand new.

A very handsome instrument, no arguing against that.

But it would seem that such an extreme heel cut would compromise neck stability unless a guitar was constructed neck through, or at least had a very long neck tenon.

Let's be honest, who really needs a heel cut extreme enough to allow access past the 19th fret on the low E, A, and D strings?

This design on my 2010 MIK Schecter Solo 6 Custom provides all the practical upper fret access one would want while maintaining neck stability. As previously noted by @uwmcscott, the 2nd iteration of Harley Benton LPs had a similar design.

Another similar example, my 2012 MIK Dean Evo.

I also wonder about it myself.

You got a point there, and now that you mention it, I'd agree with you.

AL3200s heel cut looks robust in that regard. I believe that's one of the best.

Remember 'Reville' guitars? Ex-AGFer Cameron was the owner. They lasted for a while. IIRC they were decent guitars, but no neck contour on LP models - not totally sure about this, though -.

I have one of those in LP flavor. Decent, but basic. However, there is something of a contour on them. Here's the back of mine (or the same model, anyway):

At some point mine is getting different pickups. Here's the front:

Oh yes, right. They did have some contour. I'm sure that's why I liked them then.

Now that you brought your Reville LP to the table, how much playing time does it get? Or is it one of those plain sounding guitars?

Its pickups are bland. Not terrible, just generic sounding. So I don't play it very much. I love how the top looks though, and it plays well, so I will change those pickups out some time. My favorite Reville is an offset JM type that I gave a makeover. The brand was really good at producing mod platforms in my opinion.

AXL has the neck heel contours on single cut/LP's.

I still have a few from ubuy. Remember them?

Yeah, I have one of them (in a Badwater finish), but it's not a bolt-on.

My 2014 120th Anniversary Gibson Melody Maker P90 has a nice tummy contour. I paid $399 for it brand new it the box. It is rivaling my 60's Tribute P90 Goldtop as my #1. Not because of the tummy cut but because it only weighs 6lbs. I have a set of Mojotone hum cancelling P90's on the way and once they are in there I think it will definitely be my #1. Jury is still out. I have a 3200 back in the day and admit it was a nice guitar but I could never own an Agile.
