Hey folks, good to see so many friendly familiar faces! Thanks again to everyone responsible for preserving this corner of the internet...we're really a one of a kind group here and it's been so great being a part of it for so many years.
To spice this new site up with some gear porn-tacular content (and because you discover new hobbies like photography during times like these), figured I'd start a master thread to showcase some of my least crappy photography of the ever evolving guitar stable. I recently noticed that our new home here online no longer dulls the photos I post, so they actually end up looking how they should and that's awesome.
The always top notch Well-Hung straps are not present in these, but rest assured that each of these stays incredibly Well-Hung most of the time...and each guitar will include spec list by my gear nerdy self at no extra cost.
Without further ado, here we go!
First up: The Warmoth trio:
Warmoth #1 sports a natural chambered swamp ash body with a denim-finish flame maple top, solid birdseye maple neck and fretboard, Bareknuckle Sinner pickups, and Fender USA bridge & tuners. The only GC find of mine to ever actually be local!
Warmoth #2 pairs a chambered black limba body with a canarywood neck and fretboard, Dimarzio PAF / Cruiser / PAF pickups with push-pull pots, Grover tuners, and a SuperVee Bladerunner tremolo.
Warmoth #3 is probably the wildest of the bunch with a solid flame koa body and neck, ebony fretboard with custom gold pearl inlays, Seymour Duncan pickups (forget the models actually), Sperzel locking tuners, and a Wilkinson VS100P Piezo bridge.

Good to see you too JB, and thanks! Hopefully in time everyone will migrate on over. I like this layout better than the old AGF already, kinda hard to believe it sprung up practically overnight (again, a huge shoutout to AxeGlove and whoever else is responsible for our resurgence!)
Beautiful instruments, but something seems missing to me, LOL

some nice warmoths there! i could definitely get down with #2

I know what ya mean , a guitar's just not a guitar until it's Well-Hung.
Here come the next few:
Kiesel V6 Vader - black limba neck and body with a buckeye burl top, ebony fretboard, Lithium pickups. My first and only new order from Kiesel, and my favorite.
Jackson Fusion Professional Pro - a decently rare early 90s Professional model, one of a few shredders out there with 24 frets and a 24.75 scale. Ebony board with MOP inlays and MOP Jackson headstock logo, Schaller Floyd Rose.
And the last of the bunch for this evening, the Overload Rea 6 Custom - one piece black limba body, buckeye burl top, 5 pc padauk/wenge neck, ebony fretboard, Bareknuckle Cold Sweat/Juggernaut pickups, Hipshot hardware.

Adding my Suhr Custom Classic - alder body, maple neck with satin finish, ebony fretboard with jumbo SS frets, Hipshot bridge, and Suhr Thornbucker pickups with push-pull pots. The most high end guitar I own (by a lot), but also the best deal I have ever gotten on an instrument used.
This is also the guitar in my collection that's the biggest PITA to photograph. The custom finish is called "black sparkle drip" and is basically galactic looking, when the light hits it all the "silver" sparkle drips in the paint light up like your parents at a Pink Floyd concert.
These pics fail at doing it justice, but here they are nonetheless:

Remember some of the wild finishes need a video clip to really show them off. I wonder if a mp4 converted to a motion gif would post here?slowhand84 wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 12:43 pm Adding my Suhr Custom Classic - alder body, maple neck with satin finish, ebony fretboard with jumbo SS frets, Hipshot bridge, and Suhr Thornbucker pickups with push-pull pots. That's definitely one possibility, but since I'm lazy here's a video clip I found of a very similar guitar (same finish, anyway) that does a nicer job of really showing off how it looks:

And the final few of the ones chosen for this little documentary:
Carvin AC275 - quilted maple top, mahogany neck and body, ebony fretboard with abalone blocks, and an LR Baggs piezo system. Tung oil back of neck as with all my Kiesels which is my favorite neck finish.
And speaking of Kiesels, my Kiesel V6X - walnut body, maple neck with 2 walnut stripes, birdseye maple fretboard, Hipshot headless trem and Bareknuckle Juggernaut pickups;
And Kiesel V7X - black limba body, zebrawood top, trans moss finish, rosewood fretboard.
Polka Dot RR V - mahogany neck and body, rosewood fretboard with pearl bowtie inlays...RR is huge for me so I got this dirt cheap off Ebay and it's a killer instrument.
Agile AL-3100 Silverburst - mahogany neck and body, ebony board with MOP blocks, professional stainless refret, Bareknuckle Stormy Monday / Duncan JB pickups, Gotoh bridge & tailpiece.
Agile AL-3200 Custom Shop - mahogany body, 5 pc maple/walnut neck, flame maple top, no binding, Bareknuckle Warpig set.
Jackson Dinky Reverse Professional - basswood body, maple neck and board, Schaller Floyd Rose, Bareknuckle Aftermath pickups

Thank you sir! Got a few more that I'll probably take snaps of just cuz they're one-offs and interesting, and then I guess this'll become my one main thread for all gear pics here on AGF. Been meaning to get a bit more organized with some better photos, so this forum move provided a nice excuse

Gorgeous. Gonna get my hands on a plaintop one of those some day and customize/convert it into a Tele-meets-335 kind of thing.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 4:12 pm And the final few of the ones chosen for this little documentary:

Thanks! This is my go-to for all my acoustic-ish lead playing. It would take quite some work to convert it to a tele/335 deal, but you'd certainly have the most unique one of these around .Lacking Talent wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 4:10 am

Thanks JB! Now that you mention it, continuing this series here with a polarizing one just cuz it's such a weirdo (probably the biggest oddball in the collection), but it's actually one of my absolute favorites and one hell of an ergonomic instrument.
This is a B-Way Mercury model - mahogany body, killer flame top, dark roasted maple neck and fretboard, Hipshot hardware, and a pair of Q pickups P90s.

And for the grand finale, yet another weirdo custom of mine that's become a weekly player and my one and only acoustic.
J. Willard Aurora Custom - handmade in Utah - alder body, 24 fret maple neck with malachite inlays (that's a new one!), Kent Armstrong P90 neck and Bareknuckle Pig90 bridge, Bigsby USA bridge, Gotoh locking tuners. Finish is a very dark forest green with metallic sparkles, comes out super dark in most of the photos and almost looks black...but one pic shows the real color.
And last but not least, the acoustic - my Takamine EF450C. Rumor has it this was celebrity owned, but since I don't have any actual documentation it's just a fun story. Features a thermal (roasted) solid spruce top, flame maple back and sides, maple neck with ebony fretboard and MOP inlay, as well as the TLD-2 Driver electronics.

This concludes the great Slowhand Gear Porn thread minus my custom AS-1000 and a few guitars I have up for sale...at least until GAS defeats my common sense again and I revive it with something new . Have been on a good selling streak lately though...4 guitars gone, and 3 to go.

Very attractive. Looks functional but nice. seems ergo for some reason although I cant say why. Except the rev headstock. Cool or not it is the opposite of ergonomic to me.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 11:31 amThanks JB!
