Looking at these. Anyone have one? Wondering how the neck profile is on them. Personally I prefer a slim neck. Just bought an SX. I like the guitar, but the neck is a little chunkier than I like.

I have a Slick SL51. The neck is slim front to back, but similar to my SX Liquid for nut width. I measure 42mm or 1.65" nut width, and 21mm or .82" thickness at the 1st fret, 21.6mm or .85" thickness at the 12th fret.

Thanks for the info. Pretty sure I'm gonna buy one, just have to see how much money I have left over after going to the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo in a couple of weeks.

I have a couple of friends who fly fish and based on their gear habits I can't imagine anyone making it clear said Expo with much left ;-)

Gear isn't my hangup for fly fishing. I quit playing headstock years ago. Same with fly fishing gear. But, I have a hangup on tying materials. I can easily spend 3 - 4 hundred on that. I usually find some really good deals on hen capes and partridge skins. That's where most of my money goes.

I only got to try a gfs tele for a few min many years ago it seems that it was fairly chunky what stood out was the the maple neck. It seemed the finish felt like mile thick?
