I was watching the video for the Saints' "Know Your Product", and I was trying to figure out what that guitar is that Ed Kuepper is playing - it's vaguely Strat-like, but with two humbuckers (which is really surprising given that this video was made around 1977), and the bridge does not look quite like a Strat bridge, but the video is solarized and the camera never stops moving around, so it's really hard to get a good look at it.

But an offhand reference in one of the comments provided the answer: it's a Veleno, which apparently were only made in Florida during the 1970s, and are actually of milled aluminum construction, including an aluminum neck! There are a couple Veleno Originals on Reverb right now, and the prices are hovering just under $30,000. Maybe when I finally win that lottery...

If it was that pricey when new, you'd think they'd want the audience to hear it over the invisible horns.
