I've been looking for a new acoustic lately and I played a friends Epi Masterbilt DR 500 and loved it which led me to playing another friends Masterbuilt Hummingbird and it was a cannon. So after trying to find the differences between the Masterbilt line and the Inspired by Gibson line if any (not much info on the web) I decided to purchase the masterbilt from ZZZounds via Reverb
As I was strolling through some the most dangerous pages on the interweb for a guitar nut I came across the lethal Gibson ads and tucked in them was a Gibson G-45 Studio so I made a lowball offer never thinking this cat would take it......but he did.so my 2 new acoustics are on their way.

Wow. Congrats!

Damn, you aren't messing around are you! Looks like a great pair. I didn't even know there was an inspired by Gibson acoustic line...I think the new headstock is probably the biggest difference. I had been toying with the idea of a basic Epi 12-string but that Hummingbird is awful nice. Looking forward to the NGD x 2!

Nice. I’ve had my eye on one of those Gibson G-45 Studios.

That's quite a haul for sure. Make sure you give us a heads up of what you are putting up on the 'verb ;-)
