I guess when it rains it pours? My second day in a month where I got three guitars.

Quick breakdown

1) Caparison- this is not my guitar but will be for a younger family member. I know these are very high end guitars but the neck is certainly something you either like or don’t.

2) Partscaster - fender blacktop body, warmoth padouk neck, sperzel tuners, manlius asphalt bridge pickup, rose black velvet p90 pickup, graphtech saddles. Didn’t get much time with it yesterday so will be playing it today.

3) Edwards les Paul with bare knuckle mule pickups. Traded an American special Strat I wasn’t playing for this. Previous owner said this was an SD 125 model, was hoping someone could verify? I get the feeling it may be a lower end model. As some of you know- I’ve had 3 Edwards John Sykes les Pauls and didn’t get along with the necks. I was hoping this one would be slimmer - it is not. I may be putting this up for trade/sale soon.

The number of the guitars shall be 3, no more, no less. :-)

Nice score, but if you keep buying them in 3's, you're going to need more storage space...

All three are real lookers. Never heard of the Caparison. Pretty guitar though. How many frets total on that one?

Funny thing- currently living in a 1bd apartment here in jersey (ok technically it could be two but the extra room is my office/guitar room).

And I believe the caparison has 27 frets

It should be a 3 bedroom 1 for storage one for playing and 1 for sleep. However nothing is preventing you from being like someone we all know and cover all your walls with guitars. BTW nice guitars.

HNGDX3! The "young player" you know must be amassing a pretty good size collection by now too - he or she gets mentioned a lot :-)

With Edwards the model numbers tend to not mean a whole lot IMHO - the seem to change them every year or so. For the most part they they have the Base series which has a Poly-like finish ( but still very nice ), the LTC "Lacquer Taste" series which has a poly base with lacquer over the top, and the full on Nitro Lacquer series. You rarely see the full nitro, and the LTC's are not all that common either - but even the "low end" models are awfully nice IMHO. That burst is a beauty - shoot me a PM if you decide to unload it :-)

You have no idea about his collection! 16 years old and this will be his second caparison. Has a few of the nicer Korean schecter and the nicer mid level Jacksons. That along with a Mesa triple rectifier with matching cab and 5150 set.

To be fair he has the skills for the gear and then some.

And I will definitely loop you in on the Edwards. Played it a bunch today and Don’t think the neck will work for me long term

That's ridiculous. You can sleep in a closet and have 1 more room for guitars

Does your apartment building have storage available in the basement? If so, you could move your bed there.

@chimi42 I'm interested in that Edwards LP. I'm certain it's not the model you were told it was because of the lack of serial number. It's probably an older model and part of the 9X series (referring to how much they cost in thousands of yen at that time). I came to that conclusion after reading up on Edwards without serial numbers. I doubt it's possible to know the exact model at this point. Anyhow, I'm interested in it.
