.....decided to absolutely ruin 10 gorgeous natural finish flame maple tops. And they want people to pay $8000 a pop to buy one of their mistakes.

Couldn't find a vomit smilie. Lol. Can't see myself spending that kind of dough on a good looking guitar let alone something like that.

That looks like it was influenced by "The Walking Dead" and therefore like "The Game of Thrones" Fender, you can overcharge because someone who doesn't play guitar will buy it for someone else who doesn't play. It's a wall piece.

I actually like it, but the price is WAAAAAY over me even considering it.
If I had something witty to say, I'd put it here.

I love wood, so that’s a no for me! Even if it wasn’t $8000!

I can picture someone wanting that.
But I can't picture someone with an extra $8000 burning a hole in their pocket wanting it.

I love natural wood grain, be it "Plain" Tops, Burl, Quilt, Flamed, Birdseye, Spalted etc. I know some people dig "evil" graphics, but for gosh sake don't destroy a 10 Top as a base for such frottery.

Of course, disclaimer here, ESP can do anything they want with wood they buy/own. And I can complain about it. :D

When I was in 10th grade in high school I used to occupy a lot of time in class scribbling crap like that on the pages of my Mead spiral notebook. But even in my hormone saturated, pot infused, profoundly confused sophomoric mind did I ever imagine that those images would look cool on a guitar.
